Get layers to After Effects, File> import. Imprt As>footage (if file is flattened) Composition (if there are layers)

Then when you have this, drag composition onto workspace.

Working in Illustrator

Similar set up if working in Illustrator, but must choose pixels and work in layers like photoshop. Also when saving it can be saved in the illustrator format.

When using text it is very important that stay within the blue lines. Or anything important, dont work on the outsides of the blue lines because it could be cropped off depending on the type of player it is viewed on.

It is possible to use photoshop layers in After Effects as seperate layers. But if im doing this then I need to save photoshop in PSD format or maybe TIFF.

-When the green bar is up it represents real time.
-The red bar at the bottom you can change the size of it to show how long you want the image to be playing for.
-Everything used becomes a layer which makes it very similar to photoshop. Layer>new>....
Still images/solid images last for the whole length of the video

-If I accedently close a tab then I need to go to Workspace>reset standard.
-After effects must have at least 1 compositio. Composition>new composition.
-Pal is UK and NTSC is for America. Pal is 25 frames per secon and NTSC is 29 frames per second
