"AN EDITORIAL PRINT BASED INVESTIGATION WITH A FOCUS ON TYPOGRAPHY AND LAYOUT"


Over summer time I was asked to pick 10 briefs that i would like to take up as a designer and my specialy, with is typography and layout. The briefs i chose a range of really big briefs to 1 day live briefs...


1. Live Brief for tiger print
/'special relationship' card for females
/styling contemporary to have a fresh new look
/my choice to focus on typography, illustration, graphic character or photography.


2. Big brief branding bellavist pizzeria resaraunt
/create new menues, billing slip, buissness card, wine list, letter head.
/Print based focusing typography
/Chain restaurant


3. Short brief for nevada Import.
/visual profile inspired by arctic and express a feeling of the North
/Company that distributes action sports goods, skies and longboards to store in mainly Norway.
/They have an existing website but asked for a double page pread in a sporting magazine. Based on website.


4. 1 day Brief film poster for Cornerhouse cinema
/A new film called self made, mainly black and white and its creative film so want a matching poster
/Has a website selfmade.com
/The company have sent the logos and film poster credits and some photos of characters that i can choose.


5. Thinking with type- big brief
/magazine al about typography including all eleents
/kerning, tracking, space and meaning, line spacing, alignment etc
/has to be legible with a creative element


6. Live Brief TWOFOLDS magazine Sep 30th
/create literally anything so they can put it into their magazine
/they love typography and illustration and invite creativity and quirkiness
/I want to create a typeface.


7. Pluto studio homepage for website.
they have an existing website but to be blunt its quite awful and gladly they also realise this so they have asked for a new one and they want all the same information on
/Composistion, studio pictures, Hermans hermits, Content remains pretty much same
/Sent a zip file including photos
/Also they want a short video so i can collaborate. 


8. Design and produce the content for a magazine based on youth culture
/focus on inspirational people, work, art and fashion.
/Include arcicles consisting of interviews with people who have made it into the industry.
